Terms of Service

Propicz is a website offering tools that edit images. The processing happens on your own device, in your browser. We do not receive, store, or process the images you work with. See our Privacy Policy for the detail.

The service is provided free of charge. There is no account, no subscription, and no payment.

You keep every right you already have in the images you use with these tools. We claim no ownership, no licence, and no right to use them, which is straightforward in our case because your images never reach us.

You are responsible for having the right to use the images you process. Please do not use Propicz on photographs of other people without their agreement where that agreement is required, and do not use it on images you are not permitted to edit.

Use Propicz lawfully. In particular, please do not:

• Use the tools to create or edit material that is unlawful, that sexualises children, that harasses or defames someone, or that is designed to deceive people about who someone is.
• Attempt to disrupt the website, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or interfere with anyone else's use of it.
• Scrape, resell, or redistribute the site's assets, including the machine learning model files it serves, as though they were your own product.
• Misrepresent your relationship with Propicz, or use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you.

We make no promise that the site will be available, uninterrupted, or free of errors. It is a free service and we may change it, limit it, or withdraw it at any time without notice.

The tools depend on your browser's capabilities. Older browsers, unusual privacy settings, or limited device memory may mean a tool performs poorly or does not work at all, and that is outside our control.

The service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non infringement.

Automatic background removal is imperfect. It is trained to separate a person from a background, and it will make mistakes, particularly around hair, at low resolution, in poor lighting, or on subjects that are not people. Please check the result before you use it for anything that matters.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Propicz will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of your use of or inability to use the service.

Because the tools run on your device and produce files only on your device, you are responsible for keeping your own copies of anything you care about. We cannot recover your work, since we never had it.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where the law does not allow it to be excluded or limited.

This website uses third party analytics providers, and is hosted and delivered by a third party infrastructure provider. Their handling of data is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Our Privacy Policy names each of them and explains what they collect.

We may update these terms as the service changes. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms. Since there are no accounts, we have no way to notify you directly, so please check this page if it matters to you.
